Hi, I am Gary Gough. I'm 20, and I'm from Billingham in the North East of England.
I studied Creative Interactive Media at Bede Sixth Form college and Computer Games Art at Teesside University.

 

Skillset:

 

- Complex and simplistic 3D hard surface modelling and UVW Unwrapping in Autodesk 3DS Max 

- High poly sculpting for normal maps in Autodesk Mudbox

- High Poly to low poly projection mapping, optimising meshes and LOD in 3DS Max

- Creating Diffuse, Specular, Normal, Roughness, Gloss and Occlusion maps in Adobe Photoshop

- Hand painting models in Substance

- Familiar with UDK UNREAL 4 and Unity 4 game engines

- Familiar with PBR workflow

- Creating consistent 2D art for user interface and experience

- Using both Mesh Particle and Ellipsoid Legacy Particle emmiters in Unity 4 to create VFX

- Fundamental understanding of in engine lighting, staging and effects

- Noteworthy 2D animation skills with Adobe Flash and applying the principles to texture sheeting and spriting

- Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator

- Allegorithmic Substance Painter

- Epic Games' Unreal Development Kit and Unreal 4 development environment.
